Pop takes over in Shakespearian proportions in the jukebox musical “& Juliet.”  The speakers were pulsating when PNC Broadway in Louisville finally brought the national tour to Louisville’s Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts for its April 22-27 run.

Three reporters from Arts Angle Vantage were there to review “& Juliet” for opening night. Their reviews are out now.

They were all in for the twists this musical gave to the "Romeo and Juliet" story and how pop songs and special effects infused it. But each adds their take on the show's journey and their singular voice to their reviews.

"Earshot: Audio Storytelling" • Don't miss the next free opportunity for young adults with Arts Angle Vantage: Earshot. Participants report, record, voice and produce audio stories in the program. It culminates with a listening party. Register before the May 16 deadline.

Those reviews are on our website and in LEO Weekly, our media partner, for which we are grateful for helping us elevate youth voices and the arts by practicing the values of collaborative journalism and criticism.
